30+ Years of Experience in Manufacturing Industrial Stainless Steel Doors
Thermokor Kft. has been manufacturing specialized industrial doors for cold storage, food, pharmaceutical, and cleanroom applications for over 30 years. Our products are made in our own manufacturing facility in Törökbálint, where every process from design to the finished product takes place in a controlled environment.
Our goal is simple: to manufacture doors that operate reliably over the long term, even under the toughest industrial conditions, while meeting modern operational expectations in terms of hygiene, engineering, and aesthetics.
The Right Structure Always Starts With the Specific Technology
There is no such thing as a universal industrial door. A cold store, a slaughterhouse, a central kitchen, or a cleanroom all have completely different requirements. Manufacturing always begins with an understanding of the specific technology, expected loads, and the actual usage environment.
During the design phase, we consider the temperature range, humidity load, cleaning method, chemical environment, and traffic intensity. We select the structure, material, seals, and hardware accordingly, ensuring the finished door not only fits perfectly but operates predictably.
This approach enables Thermokor solutions to perform consistently over the long term, even under intensive daily industrial use.
Industrial-Grade Stainless and Acid-Resistant Materials
The foundation of Thermokor's manufacturing technology is proper material selection. In general industrial and food industry environments, we typically use WNr. 1.4301 stainless steel, while under heavier acidic, salty, or chloric exposure, the use of WNr. 1.4404 acid-resistant material is justified.
Selecting the right material is not merely a question of corrosion protection. It determines the cleanability, long-term appearance, hygienic suitability, and maintenance needs of the door.
Our surfaces feature a brushed finish because it simultaneously provides an aesthetic appearance, excellent cleanability, and durability suitable for industrial use.
Precise Metalworking
Sheet cutting, edge bending, structural forming, and assembly are carried out with high precision. The goal is not just a beautiful surface, but a perfect fit, stable geometry retention, and long-term reliability.
Insulated Structures
For cold storage and freezer applications, we use high-density PUR filling, thermal bridge-free details, and, if necessary, heated frame systems for lower energy loss and more reliable operation.
Audit-Ready Design
Smooth, easily cleanable surfaces, details that prevent dirt accumulation, and chemical-resistant seals all ensure that the door remains hygienically operational in the long run.
Controlled Steps, Predictable Results
Manufacturing consists of several interdependent stages. Precise technical preparation is followed by custom-sized production, metalworking, structural assembly, insulation, and the installation of hardware and seals.
For every door, we pay special attention to dimensional accuracy, closing quality, structural stability, and surface finish. At the end of our production line, we don't just create a finished product, but a functioning system.
Only a structure that meets the requirements of its specific usage environment and is truly suitable for daily industrial demands leaves our facility.
We Don't Just Manufacture Doors, We Design Solutions for Industrial Environments
Thermokor's manufacturing technology is built on ensuring that industrial doors operate predictably over the long term. Proper material usage, thermal engineering expertise, hygiene considerations, and our own manufacturing background together provide the technical security needed for a serious investment.
Stable Background, Long-Term Quality You Can Count On
A significant portion of Thermokor doors are manufactured domestically, with Hungarian professionals and direct technical control. This allows for faster coordination, more accurate handling of custom requests, and consistently high-quality standards.
For us, manufacturing technology is not a self-serving showcase element, but a guarantee that the finished structure will truly perform in cold storage, food industry, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom environments.
That is why we treat every project as a unique engineering task, where durability, hygiene, operational safety, and correct execution all matter simultaneously.
Why Do We Follow This Philosophy?
An industrial door is not a decorative element. It must withstand daily use, heavy loads, and often critical environments. Therefore, every step of our manufacturing process ensures that the finished structure operates safely, hygienically, and predictably in the long run.
This attitude makes Thermokor solutions a genuine, reliable industrial benchmark.
