The industrial environment – especially food processing and the chemical industry – is ruthless on traditional doors. High humidity, acidic cleaning agents, blood, salt, and mechanical impacts lead to rapid corrosion.

The solution: Our manufactured INOX doors are not protected by coatings but are inherently corrosion-resistant. The standard material for food and cleanroom applications is WNr. 1.4301, while for highly acidic/salty environments, the highly acid-resistant WNr. 1.4404 is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions for Choosing

When should WNr. 1.4404 (acid-resistant) quality be chosen?

If salt (brine), chlorine, blood, or strong acidic cleaning agents are permanently present in the environment (e.g., dairies, cheese production, slaughterhouse salting), the standard WNr. 1.4301 material may be prone to pitting corrosion. In such cases, the highly acid-resistant WNr. 1.4404 is the safe choice.

How much can I save with an insulated door?

Modern, thermal bridge-free profiles and 100mm+ thick PU foam insulation drastically reduce compressor loads, so the investment often pays for itself on the electricity bill within 1-2 years.

How should the stainless steel surface be cleaned?

Never use chlorine-based or abrasive agents. We recommend washing with lukewarm water or using a special INOX care spray, which forms a protective layer on the surface.

Do the doors meet regulatory requirements?

Yes. The design of our products supports compliance with HACCP, GMP, IFS, and ISO 22000 systems. Surfaces are washable, disinfectable, and do not emit harmful substances.

Do you offer custom sizing?

Certainly. Since we manufacture the doors, we can adapt to any custom opening size, eliminating the need for wall demolition or modifications during installation.

Is there a warranty against rusting?

Yes, with the appropriate material selection (WNr. 1.4301 or WNr. 1.4404) and adherence to the recommended cleaning protocol, we provide a warranty against rusting through. The hardware is designed for industrial load-bearing capacity.
