Impact protection for industrial environments – protecting walls, corners, and doors
Stainless steel and acid-resistant impact protection solutions for warehouses, cold stores, food processing plants, and logistics areas. From design to implementation.
The forklift doesn't apologize
In intensive industrial traffic (forklifts, hand trucks, pallet handling), damage to walls, corners, doors, and machines quickly becomes expensive. Claddings crack, insulation is damaged, hygiene risks increase, and repairs mean downtime and continuous maintenance.
The solution: Our impact protection systems specifically protect critical points: wall guards, corner guards, bollards, and barriers. The stainless steel design is hygienic, easy to clean, and maintains its surface quality over the long term – even in food industry and cleanroom environments.
Protection that doesn't compromise hygiene
In an industrial environment, impact protection must be both durable and cleanable. We design our protection so that it doesn't become a "dirt trap" and can withstand daily washing.
Modular elements, targeted protection
Wall and corner guards, bollards, barriers, and deflectors – protection is always placed where impacts actually occur. This keeps costs controlled and protection effective.
Smart coverageSized for industrial load
Our solutions are made for regular impacts: stable fixing, massive material selection, and plant compatibility. It's not a "cosmetic element", but a real protection system.
Low downtimeWhere does impact protection pay off immediately?
Intersections, loading areas, corridors – where the forklift "touches" most often.
Protection of insulated panels, doors, and frames so that thermal insulation and closing are not damaged.
HACCP-compatible, easily cleanable surfaces – protection without compromise.
What does a professional impact protection system consist of?
Not a single piece of "iron", but a well-thought-out safety net for critical points.
Wall guards and skirting protection
In corridors and loading areas, the most frequent damage occurs to the lower zone of the walls. Wall guard elements stably protect the cladding and the panel from everyday scrapes.
Corner guards and bollards
Corners and pillars are the most endangered points. Protective elements absorb the energy of minor impacts and prevent structural damage in passageways.
Barriers and deflectors
Protection of machine guards, gates, door frames, and traffic routes with robust barriers. The goal: the impact should not hit the critical or expensive equipment.
Custom manufacturing, precise sizing
We don't work from templates: we adapt the stainless protection to the plant's traffic, openings, and technological lines – with millimeter precision.
Why is impact protection critical?
In an industrial facility, damage to walls and corners is not just an aesthetic problem. Bacteria can settle on damaged surfaces, the efficiency of insulation can decrease, and repairs result in expensive downtime. A well-designed, stainless steel impact protection system absorbs the blows of forklifts and hand trucks on the front line, thus guaranteeing the continuous, safe, and hygienic operation of the plant.
Frequently asked questions about impact protection
When is impact protection mandatory or highly recommended?
If there is regular forklift or hand truck traffic in the area, or if sandwich panel walls, cold storage frames, doors, or machines could be damaged. In these cases, the protection pays for itself quickly by avoiding repairs and downtime.
Do I need a wall guard or a barrier? What is the difference?
A wall guard is ideal when the wall is subjected to minor bumps (corridor, loading area). A barrier/deflector is necessary when a machine, gate, or critical junction needs to be protected, and the impact energy must be kept further away from the element to be protected.
What material quality is ideal?
In a standard industrial environment, WNr. 1.4301 is a suitable choice. In plants loaded with salt, chlorine, blood, or acidic cleaning agents, the more highly acid-resistant WNr. 1.4404 is recommended.
Do you undertake on-site surveys and custom sizing?
Yes. We adapt the system to the plant's traffic and critical points, and we manufacture to custom sizes – so there is no compromise in protection coverage.
How can it be cleaned hygienically?
Stainless surfaces are easily washable. Avoid chlorine-containing and abrasive agents; we recommend cleaning with lukewarm water or a stainless steel care product to protect the surface.
How long does implementation take?
After finalizing the plan, we work on a schedule to disrupt production as little as possible. The goal: fast installation, minimal downtime.
